The Secret SF Spot for Singaporean Snacks

The Secret SF Spot for Singaporean Snacks

BY TAMARA PALMER

I thought about not sharing this information with anyone, but I am not quite that selfish: San Francisco has a secret spot for Singaporean snacks!

The Sunset District location of an international organic soft serve ice cream chain called Honey Creme is the plug for fish skin and assorted salted egg yolk snacks from Singapore companies Golden Duck, Irvin’s and Crusty’s.

When it comes to these snacks, if you know ‘em, you are addicted to ‘em — and if you don’t know, you’re missing out. My particular poison is the Golden Duck Sichuan Mala Hot Pot Fragrant Mix, a crushable combo pack with hot and numbing fish skin, tofu skin and dried shrooms — I can’t feel my face when I’m with you, and I love it.

If you’re outside of the area or want to stock up, you can order Golden Duck, Irvin’s and Tasty Duck products on Amazon via the links below and it’ll take a few weeks for them to wing their way to you in California. Hopefully I can earn enough coins via the Amazon Associates links to support my new snack habit.
